Request for Quote

If you would like to submit some basic information before a phone call, direct email or visit, please fill out the form below.

We quote in stages, working with our clients in the earliest stages possible.

A. We first develop a cost spreadsheet which itemizes all the known sub-components of the proposed system and lists our mark-up, labor rates and such. This is shared with a potential client.
B. We may provide a concept sketch and/or sequence of operation.
C. We also provide our standard terms and conditions (no fine print) which also describes how we expect to conduct business. This is available in advance, upon request.

Listed below is some of the information that we will need to respond to a request for quote:

1. What is the purpose of the station / machine / system to be quoted?
2. What is the scope of work involved? For example we sometimes team-up with our clients on a project...how much of the project do you want us to do?
3. If an automatic fed assembly machine / system, how will the parts be presented? For example, will the parts be provided in bulk and loaded to a vibratory feed system or loaded into a magazine?
4. Are there any process issues / assembly challenges / tolerance concerns?
5. Are dimensioned drawings with suitable tolerances available for our review?
6. Are sample parts available and do they meet print tolerances?
7. What are the system throughput expectations? For example, 1 assembly per second.

Estimates are provided without charge after we qualify a potential project. If research & development is required or if detailed engineering is required to develop an estimate, we may request funding for that step.

To qualify a project, we request the following:

A. What are your budget expectations or constraints?
B. When is order placement expected?
C. When is the system expected to be in operation?
